Today, a Chinese Weibo user posted an invitation to the HTC new product launch on Weibo.
According to the invitation, HTC will hold a new product launch event in Taipei on November 2. The letter U on the poster suggests that the new smartphone belongs to the U series of products. According to the previous leak, the device is likely to be the U11 Plus, which is HTC’s first full-screen phone.
The previous rendering shows that the phone has super-narrow bezels on the front and bottom. It adopts a glass body design with a camera and a fingerprint reader on the back. The phone features a 5.99-inch (2880 x 1440 pixels) touchscreen with a screen ratio of 18:9 and is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 64GB/128GB ROM options. It has an 8MP front camera for selfies and a 13MP rear camera.
The phone will be priced starting at CNY 4,000 (approximately $607), and it is likely to be on sale on November 11.
