Recently, the famous blogger Digital Chat Station revealed live images of the Huawei Mate 40 series TPU cases. The live images reveal the component layout of both phones.
The hole for the camera module is a little bit bigger than the Huawei Mate 30 series. The phone has no flash opening (as the blogger mentioned), which was expected to be moved into the camera module.
The volume and power buttons are in the same place on both phones, just like on the Huawei Mate 30 series. According to the Mate 40 Pro case, the phone will come with dual speakers, as there are holes for dual speakers.
The charging port is likely to be the same Type-C port that supports fast charging. There is no place for a headphone jack in the Huawei Mate 40 Pro case, while in the Mate 40, it seems like there may be a 3.5mm headphone jack as there is a cutout at the top of the Huawei Mate 40 case.
As previously reported, the Mate 40 series is expected to feature an improved waterfall dual punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is also likely to feature a better camera and an unannounced chipset, Kirin 9000.
Currently, the phone is expected to be launched in late September or early October.
