Huawei Mate X2 will be released on February 22

Huawei launched the first foldable mobile phone, Mate X, in early 2019, but two years have passed since it has not yet ushered in a new iterative product. Today, Huawei terminal official Weibo announced that Mate X2 will be released on February 22

According to previous news, the Huawei Mate X2 will adopt an in-folding dual-screen design. The screen suppliers are panel manufacturers such as Samsung and BOE. The interior will use an 8.01-inch internal folding screen with a resolution of 2480×2200 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will not use UTG (ultra-thin glass) but choose scratch-resistant CPI (colorless polyimide). The external secondary screen is 6.45-inch and has a resolution of 2700×1160.

The phone will come with a 50MP + 16MP + 12MP + 8MP quad-camera setup, which also includes a periscope telephoto lens supporting 10x hybrid optical zoom. The phone has also been certified by the MIIT, which reveals that it comes with a built-in 4400mAh battery and a body size of 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2mm. The latest 3C certification reveals that it will support 66W fast charging.

In other respects, the device will come with the HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chip, which supports Bluetooth 5.1 and runs on the EMUI 11 system.

At present, Huawei officials have not publicly announced the specifications of this phone. It is reported that this phone will be equipped with a new patented technology that can show a better folding screen effect. More detailed information will not be known until February 22.
