Today, a new Huawei device was spotted on Geekbench. The device has a model number NOH-NX9. The same model number has been spotted on NBTC certification, which revealed that the NOH-NX9 is the Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
In the Geekbench of Mate 40 Pro, the phone is running a chipset with the codename NOH; indeed, it is Huawei’s upcoming Kirin 9000. The chipset has a base frequency of 2.04 GHz.
The chipset’s maximum frequency may be more than 3.1 GHz, as the Geekbench score exceeds that of an ordinary phone powered by the Snapdragon 865+. The Geekbench score suggests that the phone may perform far better than any other Android smartphone.
The Geekbench also revealed that the phone has 8GB RAM and uses Mali-G78 (with Kirin 9000 chipset), a second-generation Valhall architecture-based GPU for flagship devices.
The Mate 40 Pro will feature a dual punch-hole Waterfall display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup will be significantly improved compared with the Mate 30 series.
The Mate 40 series will be announced in an online event held on October 22.
