Huawei Mate 40 Pro Spotted On Geekbench With Kirin 9000 and 8GB RAM

Today, a new Huawei device was spotted on Geekbench. The device has a model number NOH-NX9. The same model number has been spotted on NBTC certification, which revealed that the NOH-NX9 is the Huawei Mate 40 Pro.

In the Geekbench of Mate 40 Pro, it can be seen that the phone is running a chipset with the codename NOH; indeed, it is Huawei’s upcoming Kirin 9000. The chipset has a base frequency of 2.04 GHz.

The chipset’s maximum frequency may be more than 3.1 GHz as the Geekbench scores are more than the score of an ordinary Snapdragon 865+ powered phone. The Geekbench scores point out that the phone’s performance may be far better than that of any other Android smartphone.

The Geekbench also revealed that the phone is equipped with 8GB RAM and uses Mali-G78 (with Kirin 9000 chipset), a second-generation Valhall architecture-based GPU for flagship devices.

As per reports, the new Mate 40 Pro will feature a dual punch-hole Waterfall display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup will be significantly improved compared with the Mate 30 series.

The new Mate 40 series will be announced in an online event held on October 22.
