Huawei Mate 40 series is now in the development stage. Today, a digital blogger revealed another leak about the phone.
According to the blogger, he has viewed the latest version of Huawei’s Mate 40 engineering machine or prototype. And the phone doesn’t have an under-display camera.
Since the leading display technology developing company, Visionox has released the world’s first mass-production under-screen camera solution. There has been much rumour that Huawei may use that solution in the Mate 40 series. However, through the blogger, it is confirmed that the Mate 40 series will feature a regular notch camera or a punch-hole camera.
It was previously reported that the Huawei Mate 40 series would be launched with a very improved camera setup. The camera setup will include an enhanced telephoto lens (5x optical zoom and 55x digital zoom) with the same primary camera and ToF sensors used in the Huawei P40 series. The phone will also be equipped with Dali’s 9P (free form) lens for imaging degradation and distortion of outsole lenses.
The Huawei Mate 40 series launch might be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there is a high chance that this series will be launched in October.
