Today, Huawei has officially launched its Nova 8 SE for pre-orders. Users can now pre-order this new phone from many Chinese E-Commerce sites.
First, the phone has two versions. The first is equipped with a Dimensity 720 chipset, and the 8+128GB variant costs CNY 2599, while the second is powered by a Dimensity 800U chipset, and the 8+128GB variant costs CNY 2699.
Buyers can save CNY 50 with pre-booking at only CNY 1 and get a free selfie stick. Some highlighted features of the phone make it unique from other mobile devices.
The phone got a new geometric cubism design style and realized an ultra-thin design. Huawei’s product manager mentioned that this device has upgraded and optimized all-around structural components such as the battery, screen, antenna, and heat dissipation, resulting in an extremely slim body of 7.46mm, which is Huawei’s thinnest 5G mobile phone so far.
The phone features adjustable multi-mode standard body antenna technology, which reduces the thickness by 0.4 mm without affecting the 5G experience.
Huawei’s Nova 8 SE also comes with the highest 66W charging, the same as in the Mate 40 series. The company claimed that this phone could be charged 60% in only 15 minutes, while a full charge would take 35 minutes.
Huawei’s product manager also said that the Huawei Nova 8 SE pioneered a single-core dual-channel three-electrode fast charging solution, which has four significant advantages: larger battery capacity, longer battery life, better stability, and longer cycle life.
The single-cell, dual-channel, three-electrode fast-charging solution delivers a 10% equivalent increase in battery capacity and a 5% equivalent increase in battery life, effectively solving the dual-cell aging problem while providing a longer lifecycle.
