This morning, Huawei officially confirmed that they are going to launch the Nova 8 SE on November 5. The launch poster includes the design of the phone.
The Nova 8 SE is equipped with a quad-camera setup. The cameras are arranged vertically in a square-shaped bump. The camera arrangement is almost the same as the Nova 7i. According to reports, the quad-camera includes 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP sensors.
We also observed that the Nova 8 SE features flat bezels, just like the iPhone 12 series.
Previously, it was reported that the Huawei Nova 8 SE would feature a 6.53-inch OLED display. The display’s resolution will be Full-HD+ (maybe 2460×1080), while the refresh rate will be 60Hz. The phone would be 7.46mm thick and weighs around 178g.
It was also reported that Huawei’s future devices will not be powered by Kirin chipset due to some internal problems. The all-new Huawei Nova 8 SE is expected to feature MediaTek Dimensity 720 or Dimensity 800U chipset. Both chipsets are based on 7nm production.
The Dimensity 800U has a higher frequency compared to the Dimensity 720. The Nova 7 SE was powered by a Kirin 820 5G chipset.
The Huawei Nova 8 SE will launch on 5th November at 14:00 in an online event. The pricing and storage variant options have not yet been confirmed.
