After the Mate 40 series launch, Huawei is now reportedly preparing for the Nova series. This time, it would be the Huawei Nova 8 series. This morning, the famous digital blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the renders and specifications of the Huawei Nova 8 SE.
According to the blogger, the Huawei Nova 8 SE (Special Edition) would feature a 6.53-inch OLED display. The display’s resolution will be Full-HD+ (maybe 2460×1080), while the refresh rate will only be limited to 60Hz.
It seems like the camera may be the same as the Nova 7 SE. It will feature a Quad-camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP). The phone would feature a 3800mAh battery with a 66W charger. The battery seems to be a downgrade over the 4000mAh battery in Nova 7 SE.
The weight and thickness of the phone will be improved this time. The all-new Nova 8 SE will feature a 7.46mm thickness and weighs around 178g (8.6mm thickness and 189 g weight in Nova 7 SE).
It is expected that the standard version may feature MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, and the high-end version will feature the Dimensity 800U. Both the octa-core chipsets are based on the same 7nm production and have a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz.
It is expected that the all-new Nova 8 SE will be launched along with the Nova 8 series at the start or mid-December. The leaks suggest that the device is currently in the development phase.
