Today, Huawei has officially confirmed that they will launch the Nova 8 series on December 23. After the confirmation, the famous blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of both devices in this series.
An anonymous Chinese netizen provided these specs to the blogger. According to the netizen, the Nova 8 will come with a 90Hz OLED display (probably a single punch-hole display in Full HD+ resolution). The screen is curved, while the display also has 1 billion color bits.
On the back, there would be a quad-camera setup with a primary 64MP sensor, while on the front side, there is a 32MP single camera (maybe in Punch Hole). The Kirin 985 chipset is equipped inside the phone, with a maximum 2.58GHz frequency. The Nova 7 series also features the same chipset.
The battery capacity of the phone has not been revealed, but the charger will support a maximum charging power of 66W. The phone will also support dual-mode 5G networks.
The thickness of this phone is only 7.64 mm. It is also mentioned that the body is lightweight, and a new 3D hyperboloid glass design is also expected.
The Nova 8 Pro will feature a 120Hz OLED single punch-hole display with 1 billion color bits. The phone also has the same quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera sensor.
The phone also includes some unique camera features like comfortable Vlog shooting and dual-scene video recording with front and rear cameras. On the front, it may come with a dual punch-hole camera with a 32-megapixel primary sensor.
