iPhone 12 series is expected to feature a 7P lens module

As the iPhone 12 release date approaches, things are getting exposed. Recently, a new leak was revealed. According to DigiTimes, the iPhone 12 series is expected to come with a greatly improved camera module. All models in the iPhone 12 series are expected to come with a 7P lens module.

The 7P lens module will significantly improve the picture and video quality. The report also pointed out that Android smartphone manufacturers are expected to follow the same trend, which will increase competition among smartphone manufacturers.

Compared with the iPhone 11 Pro, it was equipped with a 5P lens for the ultra-wide camera and a 6P lens for the wide-angle and telephoto cameras. The 7P lens will increase the light transmittance.

Previously, the iPhone 12 series might use the same primary sensor as the iPhone 6s camera. However, now it is expected that all the models will use a large sensor, which will significantly improve the phone’s picture and video capturing quality, especially in low-light conditions.

The iPhone 12 series will support 4K slo-mo video capturing at 240fps. It will also support LiDAR autofocus, enhanced night mode, improved noise reduction, depth of field video, and other new functions.
