Apple iPhone 12 series shipment will remain the same, as revealed by supply chain companies

Previously, one of the famous Apple industry chain analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo, reported that this year’s iPhone 12 series might face a decrease in shipments as many companies are facing a decline in shipments (due to COVID-19). Under the pessimistic and optimistic situation, it is estimated that iPhone shipments will decline by 25%-30% and 3%-6%, respectively.

But Today, China Securities Journal reported that three Chinese Apple iPhone supply chain companies said Apple had not reduced the iPhone 12 shipment target guidance. They didn’t receive any notification from Apple to lower the target.

It is also reported that Apple may remove the WeChat application, which might decrease the shipment of the iPhone 12 series in China.

Previous information reported that the upcoming iPhone 12 series would feature 5G connectivity. Moreover, the ProMotion 120Hz display will not be available in this year’s iPhone series as the testing of the 120Hz display was not successful.

The iPhone 12 series will start from 699$ (for iPhone 12 64GB) to 1449$ (for iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB). The iPhone 12 series is expected to be launched in the middle of next month or mid-October.
