Today, the famous blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro were listed on the UFCS certification, which shows their battery capacities and charging power.
The iQOO 12 will be powered by a 4880mAh dual-cell (2x 2440mAh cells) battery with 120W fast charging. iQOO 12Pro comes with a 4980mAh dual-cell (2x 2490mAh cells) battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Both phones are equipped with a USB Type-C port.
Compared with last year’s models, iQOO has reduced the charging power on the iQOO 12 Pro from 200W to 120W, while it is the same on the iQOO 12. The battery capacity on the iQOO 12 is reduced by 120mAh, while the battery capacity of the iQOO 12 Pro has increased by 180mAh.
Both devices are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is scheduled to launch at the upcoming Snapdragon Summit (which will take place from 24 to 26 October).
The chipset would be based on the new 1+5+2 core architecture and consist of Cortex-X4 ultra cores, Cortex-A720 P-cores, and Cortex-A520 E-cores.
More leaks regarding the iQOO 12 series will be revealed in the coming days, and iQOO is expected to launch it between November and December.
