iQOO 9 got 3C certification with 120W charging

The upcoming iQOO 9 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It was also included in the list of the first devices to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. At the moment, there is no official word about the existence of the phone. However, recent developments suggest that the device is in the final stages of testing.

This evening, the iQOO 9 with model number V2171A was listed on the 3C certification, revealing its charging specifications. As mentioned, the new iQOO 9 will come with a 120W charger with two model numbers: V12060L0B0-CN and V12060L0D0-CN.

The charger will also support charging at different modes, starting from 10W (5V/2A) and going to a maximum of 120W (20V/6A). Along with the 120W charger, it was reported that the iQOO 9 would feature a 4550mAh battery, while the iQOO 9 Pro would feature a larger 4700mAh battery.

The new iQOO 9 series is expected to feature an OLED Display with a higher refresh rate of up to 120Hz and HDR10 support. As mentioned before, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset would also be the main highlight of these phones.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 features 1x Cortex-X2 core (2.99GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 performance core (2.4GHz), and 4x Cortex-A510 energy-efficient core (1.8GHz). In addition, the chipset also features the Adreno 730 GPU.

At the moment, it is expected that the officials will announce their upcoming flagship series soon.
