It was reported that iQOO is working on the new iQOO Neo series, which will be named iQOO Neo5. The phone has already been spotted on many certification sites.
Today, the company posted the launch date poster on its official Weibo account. As mentioned, the iQOO Neo5 will be released on March 16. The slogan of this phone is Born to win.
Except for the launch date, nothing more is revealed.
As per previous information, the iQOO Neo5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870. The SoC is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865. It has a maximum frequency of 3.2GHz, while the other specifications are the same as the Snapdragon 865.
The device’s live images were also revealed, which confirmed that the device would feature a waterdrop display. It will also run the latest Origin OS with Android 11. The phone was also spotted on 3C certification with a 66W charger, which confirmed that it would support 66W fast charging.
The iQOO Neo5 will feature a triple camera setup (48+13+2MP). The primary 48MP camera is expected to be the Sony IMX598 sensor. The sources also claimed that this model’s base price would be around CNY 2999 ($465).
