iQOO U3x 5G officially launched with Snapdragon 480

iQOO has launched a new smartphone in its entry-level category. The phone belongs to iQOO’s U series and is named iQOO U3x, the affordable version of the iQOO U3.

The listing on the official website also reveals the price and complete specifications of the device. The specifications are discussed below.

The phone has a 6.58-inch LCD display with a Water-Drop notch. It features a 2400 x 1080 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The screen ratio is 20.07:9, while the screen-to-body ratio is 90.61%. It also supports 16.7M Colors and 401 PPI.

The phone measures about 164.15×75.35×8.40 mm and weighs around 185.5g. The side frame is made of plastic. It has a 5000mAh battery and supports fast charging up to 18W.

The iQOO U3x is powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset with X51 5G modem. The chipset is based on an 8nm manufacturing process and has a maximum clock of around 2.0GHz (with Kyro 460 core). The chipset also comes with an Adreno 619 GPU.

The phone adopts a dual-camera setup. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, while the second is a 2MP Depth Lens with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, a single 8MP lens has been used in the notch.

The phone has a side fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.

The iQOO U3x has three storage variants: 6+64GB ($184), 4+128GB ($184), and 8+128GB ($230). It will be available in two different colors: grey and magic blue. The phone is available for pre-booking, and buyers will receive it on April 1.
