This morning, iQOO announced that it will extend its Z5 series by launching the iQOO Z5x. The phone will be introduced on October 20. The company also revealed the appearance of the device in the announcement poster.
As observed through the naming, the iQOO Z5x is another premium mid-range phone like the Z5. Further, the phone adopts a dual-camera solution (50MP+2MP) on the back.
Previously, the same phone was also listed on different certification sites, which revealed almost every main device specification. As reported, the new iQOO Z5x will feature a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD Display with support of a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also sports an 8MP selfie camera.
With an 8.5mm thickness and 189g weight, the device’s holding experience will also be great. It is worth mentioning that the new iQOO Z5x will be powered by the Dimensity 900 chipset. If buyers want a Snapdragon-powered model, they can go for the iQOO Z5 with Snapdragon 778G.
Moreover, the device also uses a combination of 5000mAh battery and 44W charging, making the battery and charging experience decent in its category. A side fingerprint scanner module is also placed.
The phone would be available in three storage variants: 6+128GB, 8+128GB, and 8+256GB. The starting price is expected to be around CNY 1400 ($218), while the high-end version might cost up to CNY 2000 ($310).
