Lenovo Legion 2 Pro will feature the snapdragon 888 SoC and a dual turbo cooling system

It was reported that Lenovo is working on the new generation of its Legion gaming smartphone.  Today, Lenovo‘s general manager has confirmed on his Weibo that the phone will be named Lenovo Legion 2 Pro.

Today, the company officially announced the highlight of its upcoming gaming smartphone. According to the official Weibo post, the new Lenovo Legion 2 Pro will feature the industry’s first dual-turbo super-dimensional cooling system.

The official also mentioned that the gaming experience will be epic and the device will no longer be afraid of heating. Furthermore, the general manager of Lenovo China confirmed that the device will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm manufacturing process. It also has a Cortex-X1 super core and an Adreno 660 GPU.

The combination of the Snapdragon 888 chipset and Twin-Turbo Super-Dimensional cooling system will make the device super fast.

Currently, the specifications of the Lenovo Legion Pro 2 are unknown. However, a better display (with maybe a 165Hz refresh rate), a better battery, support for UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 memory are also expected.

The officials haven’t revealed the launch date yet.
