Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 1100 5G chipset

A few days ago, Lu Weibing announced that the Redmi will launch a new model in its Redmi K40 series, called the Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition.

Today, a Redmi device with model number Xiaomi M2104K10AC has been spotted on Geekbench. Some rumors suggested that the phone would be the upcoming Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition.

The phone has almost the same model number as the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, M2104K10C, which suggests that this would be Redmi’s second gaming phone.

According to Geekbench, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset. It is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and features four Cortex-A76 Performance cores (2.6GHz) and four Cortex-A55 cores (2GHz).

The phone also has 8GB RAM and scored 727 points on the Single-Core test and 3105 points on the Multi-Core test, which seems like a decent score for a phone with a sub-flagship chipset.

According to previous information, the same model appeared on 3C certification with 67W charging. Moreover, a battery of about 5000mAh is also expected to be featured on the phone.

Other specifications such as display and camera setup are expected to be the same as the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. At the moment, there is no news about the launch of the device.
