Xiaomi Notebook Air Disassembly

On July 27, Xiaomi held a press conference in Beijing to launch the Xiaomi Redmi Pro and Xiaomi Notebook Air.

There is no logo on the 13.3-inch Notebook Air. The all-metal body is made of aluminum alloy, weighs only 1.28 kg, and has a thickness of only 14.8 mm.

The 13.3-inch Laptop Air features an Intel Core i5-6200U processor, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 1GB DDR5 graphics, 8GB DDR4 memory, a 256GB SSD, a 1920×1080 Full HD resolution screen, AKG custom dual speakers, and a pre-installed Chinese Simplified Chinese version of the Windows 10 series.

The 12.5-inch Notebook Air also comes with a 1920×1080 Full HD resolution screen, an Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB of internal memory, and a 128GB SSD, with the rest of the configuration being essentially the same as the 13.3-inch Notebook Air version.

The 12.5-inch notebook Air weighs only 1.07 kg, and the body is the size of a magazine, which can freely carry women’s wallets and men’s briefcases, making it more compact and portable.

The laptop comes with an HDMI port, a headphone jack, a USB 3.0 port, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port.

Remove eight screws. You can remove the bottom cover.

The first thing we see is the Intel Core Heat M3 processor located in the center of the motherboard.

The next thing you see are the two SSD slots, with a 128G M.2 SSD connector on the left and a spare M.2 SSD connector on the right. The 12.5-inch laptop has a more compact internal layout, which saves more internal space.
