HP Pavilion 14 Disassembly
In this guide, I’ll explain how to disassemble the HP Pavilion 14 to remove and replace the hard drive, keyboard, palm rest, wireless card, RAM, speakers, cooling fan, and motherboard.

Remove eight screws securing the bottom case.
Flip the laptop over. Pry up the keyboard with a pry bar. Lift up the keyboard and disconnect the keyboard cable.
Remove ten screws securing the palm rest. Disconnect all visible cables.
Pry up the palm rest with a pry bar. Lift up the palm rest and disconnect the touchpad cable. You can remove the palm rest.
When the palm rest is removed, you can access the hard drive, speakers, cooling fan, and motherboard.
HP Pavilion 14 features a Ralink RT3290 wireless card.
The small part is used to fix the DC power jack.

Can you please show a picture of the SSD port so we know what type of SSD it takes apart from the obvious 2.5″ SATA SSD?
