In this guide, I’ll explain how to disassemble the Meizu M2 to remove the back cover, speaker, camera, battery, and motherboard.

Remove the SD card tray.

Remove two screws next to the micro-USB port.

Now pry up and remove the back cover.

Remove all screws securing the middle frame and speaker module.

Remove the middle frame and speaker module.

Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.

Remove all screws securing the motherboard.

Disconnect the power button cable.

Disconnect the LCD cable.

Disconnect the RF antenna cable.

Remove the headphone jack.

Remove the motherboard.

Remove the battery.

Disconnect the home button cable.

Remove the front camera.

Remove the rear camera.

Remove all the metal shields from the motherboard.

  1. The torx must be less than 4. I tried with the 4 and it is big. I need to replace the screen. Please leave a reply about the torx measures. Thnx!

  2. Meizu M2 got a problem. The caller did not hear a voice. I think there is a mike issue. pls help us to resolve this.
