Meizu MX5 Teardown
In this guide, I will explain how to disassemble the Meizu MX5 to remove the display assembly, battery, camera, speaker, and motherboard.

First, remove the SIM card tray.
Open the display assembly with a suction cup.
The display assembly is connected to the phone body by a soft cable. Remove the two screws securing the metal plate from the motherboard, disconnect the screen cable and the fingerprint cable, and then the screen assembly can be completely removed.
The Meizu MX5 uses a Super AMOLED display.
Disconnect the cable and remove the two screws securing the metal plate. You can remove the fingerprint recognition home button module.
Remove all screws securing the motherboard.
Remove the screws securing the sound chamber. Use tweezers to pry up and remove the sound chamber. After removing the sound chamber, you can access the small circuit board and the vibrator.
Remove the screws securing the motherboard and use tweezers to remove the motherboard.

All the chips on the motherboard were covered by metal shields.
