Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Teardown

In this guide, I’ll explain how to disassemble the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 to remove the back cover, battery, speaker, camera, and motherboard.

Redmi Note 3 supports dual card dual standbys, using dual Micro SIM card slots.

Pry up and remove the back cover with a guitar pick.

There is a layer of cooling sticker covering the back cover.

Redmi Note 3 uses a Swedish fingerprint card’s FPC 1022 chip.

Under the back cover, you can access the internal components, including the battery, speaker, camera, and motherboard.

Redmi Note 3 comes with a 3.8v, 4000mah Li-polymer battery.

  1. I have a scratching noise near the USB port. Maybe opening the cover would help, or maybe it was barely put together in my model. But how hard is it to put the cover back again? Will it look as before?

  2. Any idea where to buy the whole new body from? I broke mine in anger. Surprisingly, the phone is fully working with everything, even the touch ID. But the screen is totally broken and the body is bent. Plz Help! 🙂
