Previously, some leaked benchmarks suggested that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset could be the fastest chipset in the world due to its reliable configuration and high benchmark scores. Recent developments have once again shown that the Dimensity 9000 is the highest-scoring chipset.
This morning, the Dimensity 9000 flagship chipset was listed on the AI Benchmark, which has an AI Score of 692.5 points. This result is 2.7 times Google Tensor, 3.7 times Exynos 2100, 3.9 times Kirin 9000, and 4.2 times Snapdragon 888, which is currently the best option in an Android smartphone.
It is worth mentioning that the chipset uses the new APU 4.0 (Accelerated Processing Unit), which plays an essential role in the Dimensity 9000 chipset’s highest benchmark score.
The Dimensity 9000 chipset features eight cores, including one Cortex-X2 super core clocked at 3.05GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.85GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
Currently, almost all smartphone manufacturers are focusing on making smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips. However, it is expected that in the near future, companies will also start making phones with Dimensity 9000 chips, which will also be priced lower than the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 chipset.
Some smartphones like Poco F4 GT, Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, and Realme X9 Max 5G are expected to be powered by this chipset.
