Meizu 20 series listed on 3C certification, battery capacity revealed

There are reports that Meizu is looking forward to releasing the Meizu 20 series next month. The company plans to launch the Meizu 20 in March 2023 instead of the Meizu 19 series.

This morning, the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro batteries were listed on the 3C certification database, revealing the phone’s battery specifications.

The first battery has the model number BA381 and belongs to the Meizu 20. It has a rated value of 4600mAh and a typical value of 4700mAh. Compared with the Meizu 18, the battery capacity has been upgraded by 600mAh.

Next, the second battery has the model number XA24751 and belongs to the Meizu 20 Pro. It has a rated value of 4670mAh and a typical value of 4800mAh. the battery capacity of the device has just been upgraded by 170mAh. However, judging from this leak, we can expect the Meizu 20 series to have a better battery life than the Meizu 18.

A few days ago, the renders of the Meizu 20 Pro were also revealed. They show this lineup will adopt a new flat-edge frame design instead of round edges (as in Mei 18). Further, the Meizu 20 Pro will also feature a new minimalist vertical video module on the back.

Both phones are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset is based on a 4nm TSMC process and features a new architecture. The source also claims that the new LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage will be one of the main highlights of the Meitu 20 series.

In an official teaser, the company has revealed that this lineup will feature the ultra-sonic fingerprint 2.0, which supports fast wet-hand unlocking at 0.075s, the quickest in the smartphone industry. At the same time, Pandaer will release the official tempered glass film, which can solve the compatibility problem of ultrasonic fingerprints and tempered film.
