According to reports, Motorola will launch a new phone with 5 G support in its G series, called the Moto G40. The smartphone with model number XT2137-2 has appeared on different certification websites. Today, it has another certification.
Today, the phone has been listed on the famous Chinese 3C certification site. The certification has revealed that this device will support 10W charging (5V, 2A) only. Moreover, it uses the charger MC-108, which has been used with many Motorola smartphones in the past.
As mentioned, the applicant for this certification is Motorola Mobility Technologies (China) Company Limited, while the manufacturer is Motorola Mobility LLC.
According to previous information, the Moto G40 may also support 5G as it features a 5G chipset. The chipset device used is Snapdragon 480 5G. It is based on an 8nm manufacturing process and has a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz (Kryo 460).
It was also reported that the Moto G40 might be equipped with a 90Hz display. Most probably, it will feature HD+ resolution. As observed, the device would be a competitor to OPPO A93 5G and Vivo Y31s.
It is expected that Moto G40 will be announced by the officials soon.
