Motorola Moto X40 gets 3C certification with 125W charging

Motorola has already announced that the Moto X40 will be launched on December 15. However, as the launch event approaches, a lot of new information about the upcoming Moto X40 has also been revealed.

This morning, a new Motorola device with model number XT2301-5 was listed on 3C certification. According to sources, the model number belongs to the Motorola Moto X40, and its charging specifications were revealed.

According to 3C certification, the Motorola Moto X40 was certified with a 68W MC-688N charger and a 125W MC-1258 GaN charger. Other than that, the 3C certification reveals no further information.

Previously, it was revealed that the Moto X40 would be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is based on the latest TSMC 4nm manufacturing process and has the following cores: one Cortex-X3 super core, two Cortex-A715, two Cortex-A710 performance cores and three Cortex-A510 energy-efficient cores.

The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that supports Full-HD+ resolution and 10-bit color depth. It measures 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs about 196g.

The Motorola Moto X40 features a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary lens, another 50MP lens, and a 12MP lens. The reports claimed that the Moto X40 would be available in two battery versions: one with a 4950mAh battery that might support 68W charging and the second with a 4450mAh battery that supports 125W charging.

We expect Motorola to reveal some highlights ahead of the upcoming Motorola Moto X40 launch.
