After the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset goes official, the companies are announcing the first batch of their smartphones powered by this chipset.
This morning, Motorola revealed that the company will launch the Motorola Edge X30 at the upcoming product launch event on December 9. Another major thing said was that this phone would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset.
Except for this, the official warm-up post hasn’t revealed any other major highlight of the device. The phone will feature the new Cortex-X2, Cortex-A710, and Cortex-A510 cores. It is based on the latest Samsung’s 4nm manufacturing process.
According to previous sources, the Motorola Edge X30 will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display that supports Full-HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The device would weigh 201g, which seems slightly higher. The thickness of the device is 8.4mm, which is okay with this body weight.
The Motorola Edge X30 will feature a triple camera setup (50MP+50MP+2MP) in a rectangle-shaped camera module, while on the front side, there will be a single 60MP lens. Inside the phone, a 4700mAh battery has been used, which would support 68.2W charging.
The phone will start from the 8+128GB storage variant, and the maximum would be 12+256GB. It is expected that Motorola will release many more highlights in the upcoming days.
