A few days ago, it was revealed that Chinese car manufacturing brand NIO will launch its first smartphone at an upcoming launch event on September 21.
This morning, an NIO device carrying model number N2301 was listed on the 3C certification. It is confirmed that the device belongs to the NIO Phone and supports a maximum of 100W charging. The smartphone will be equipped with a 100W charger with the following model number: N23061.
The charger supports charging at the following modes: 15W, 27W, and 45W. The applicant for this certification is NIO Smart Technology Company Limited. Except for this, the certification didn’t consist of any information.
According to previous information, the NIO Phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is based on the 4nm manufacturing process. The chipset consists of a Cortex-X3 Super Core, a Snapdragon X70 5G modem, and an Adreno 740 GPU.
The smartphone has scored around 1.36 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, which seems similar to the OnePlus 11. The benchmark also revealed that the smartphone would be available in a 12GB+1TB storage variant. In addition, the MIIT device certification revealed that it would also be available in 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB storage variants.
The upcoming NIO Phone is expected to launch at the forthcoming NIO event on September 21.
