A few days ago, reports suggested that Nokia plans to bring the Plus version of its Nokia C20. The device has even visited many certification sites with basic specifications. But today, the company has officially confirmed the existence of the upcoming smartphone.
This morning, Nokia China officially announced that the Nokia C20 Plus will be launched on June 11 at 10 AM in an online event. The officials further mentioned, “Make it simple and easy to use, go further! Unlock new skills for one-click direct access!”
The launch poster also shows the backside of the Plus model. This model features a dual camera setup in a circle-shaped camera module, unlike the Nokia C20, which has a single camera. On the left of the camera, there is also an LED Flash.
The phone seems curved from the edges at the backside, plus it has the same plastic material as the standard version.
As per previous leaks, the Nokia C20 Plus is confirmed to feature the Unisoc SC9863A. The SoC is based on the 28nm manufacturing process. It consists of eight Cortex-A55 cores, of which the first four are clocked at 1.6GHz, while the other four are clocked at 1.2GHz.
The C20 Plus will also have a bigger RAM of 3GB, while the C20 comes in 1GB and 2GB RAM variants. Some sources also report that it will feature a bigger battery, this time, maybe around 5000mAh. Like the Nokia C20, this phone will also lack a fingerprint scanner.
Rumors suggest that Nokia might also launch a Nokia C30 with the Nokia C20 Plus. For complete information, we have to wait until June 11.
