Just like every time, as the release of the phone approaches. The specifications of the phone are always revealed by its company. Today, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau revealed the dimensions and weight of the phone.
According to the CEO, the new OnePlus 8T is only 8.4mm thick. Moreover, the phone weighs around 188g. The CEO also mentioned that this phone should be one of the few thin and light flagships in the market this year.
After comparing it with the OnePlus 8 5G, it seems like the phone may be a downgrade in terms of thickness and weight. The previous model features an 8mm thickness while weighing around 180g, which is slightly lower than the OnePlus 8T.
We have already reported that the OnePlus 8T will feature a 2.5D AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a single punch hole.
The phone will also feature a quad-camera setup with a primary 48MP sensor. The camera also supports OIS with 14-26mm zoom and dual-LED flash.
It will also be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+, an octa-core chipset with a max 3.1 GHz frequency. The battery will have 4500mAh and 65W super-fast charging. It will charge 70% of the battery in just 20 minutes.
The phone will now be launched at an online event on October 15. However, the pricing and storage variants are still not confirmed.
