OnePlus 9 series core specifications announced: Snapdragon 888 SoC, LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage

The OnePlus 9 series conference will be held on March 24. OnePlus revealed that the theme of the conference was “There is always a story seen by images,” which means that the phone mainly focuses on photography. On March 18th, Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus Technology, announced the specifications of the OnePlus 9 series.

The OnePlus 9 series is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. This processor uses a 5nm process and is currently the most powerful mobile phone processor. The OnePlus 9 series comes with a new generation of LPDDR5 memory and high-spec UFS 3.1 storage.

In addition, OnePlus also optimized the internal structure of this phone and adopted a new heat dissipation design. After testing, under heavy games, you can clearly feel that the body temperature is lower and the game frame rate is more stable.

It is reported that the OnePlus 9 series is equipped with the Hasselblad Mobile Imaging System, which is the Hasselblad Natural Color Optimizer jointly created by OnePlus and Hasselblad so that every photo can have natural and comfortable color performance. The Hasselblad Professional Mode is created for professional users, which can flexibly adjust various parameters such as shutter speed, sensitivity, and white balance and supports peak focus function for fast and accurate focusing.

The OnePlus 9 series is confirmed to adopt dual main cameras. One of the main camera lenses will use an IMX789 sensor, the most expensive Sony custom sensor in OnePlus’s history. There is also a wide-angle lens that uses the main camera-level ultra-wide IMX766 sensor.
