Today, OnePlus officially announced that the OnePlus Ace 2 will be launched on February 7. In the official announcement, the company revealed a teaser but did not include any information about the smartphone.
The officials also announced that the OnePlus Ace 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and has scored 1,149,494 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. It is worth noting that the OnePlus Ace 1 was powered by the Dimensity 8100-Max chipset.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 at 3.2GHz, 3x Cortex-A710 cores at 2.5GHz and 4x Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8GHz.
Previously, the sources also revealed the devices’ renders in which it was observed that the new OnePlus Ace 2 would look almost similar to the OnePlus 11. However, the camera module of the OnePlus Ace 2 doesn’t have any Hasselblad branding on it, while the rest of the things are the same.

The sources also revealed specifications, stating that the OnePlus Ace 2 will feature a 6.7-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a 5000mAh battery with 100W super fast charging support.
The OnePlus Ace 2 will feature a triple camera setup, including a 50MP, an 8MP, and a 2MP lens. On the front, there would be a single 16MP lens. The phone will be available with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM, as well as 128GB and 256GB Storage.
OnePlus is expected to start releasing the major highlights of its OnePlus Ace 2 in the coming days before the launch event.
