OnePlus Ace 2V officially confirmed to feature Dimensity 9000 chipset

Yesterday, OnePlus officially announced that the OnePlus Ace 2V will launch on March 7. As expected, the company started revealing the teasers of the device. Yesterday, the company announced its color scheme.

This morning, OnePlus officially revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2V will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. The chipset isn’t the latest one from Mediatek, but it still can perform well.

In the official poster, the company mentioned, “Better chips can bring smoother operating experience, less stuttering, stronger network capabilities, better video capabilities, and better game optimization.”

The Dimensity 9000 is based on TSMC’s 4nm production process and consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 core at 3.05GHz, 3x Cortex-A710 cores at 2.85GHz, and 4x Cortex-A510 cores. The chipset features Mali-G710 MC10 GPU.

The device was also previously listed on the AnTuTu benchmark, which revealed a decent benchmark score according to the chipset’s specifications.

The OnePlus Ace 2V features a 6.74-inch single punch-hole OLED straight display with narrow bezels. It supports 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There is a 16MP selfie lens in the punch-hole.

On the back, the smartphone features a triple camera setup and comes in two rings. The first ring features a 64MP primary lens, while the second comprises an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The OnePlus Ace 2V has an estimated battery capacity of 5000mAh and supports 80W charging.

OnePlus is expected to reveal more teasers of its OnePlus Ace 2V before the launch event.
