A few days ago, OPPO officially announced that it would launch a new device called OPPO A2 Pro. However, the specs and appearance of the phone were not revealed.
This morning, OPPO officially announced that the OPPO A2 Pro will be released on September 15. The device will support a maximum of 67W fast charging. The company will provide a four-year battery warranty for specific buyers (buying this phone between September 15 and October 8).
The appearance of the phone has also been revealed through the promotional poster for the launch event, which shows that the phone will be available in both leather and ceramic textures. At the top center, there is a camera module with two lenses.
The poster also mentions that the OPPO A2 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 7050 chipset. The chipset is a mid-range category SoC based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It also features two Cortex-A78 performance cores at 2.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 E-cores at 2.0GHz.
This phone will also feature a total of 24GB RAM, of which 12GB is physical memory while the rest 12GB is virtual.
As per previous news, the OPPO A2 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED curved display with a single punch hole. The display has a resolution of 2412×1080 and supports PWM dimming to ensure the user’s eye protection in long-term screen use.
The officials didn’t reveal, but the sources stated that the dual camera setup consists of a 64MP primary and 2MP lenses. The company would use an 8MP lens in the punch-hole.
OPPO is expected to reveal more highlights of its upcoming phone in the coming days.
