Oppo launched a mid-range phone called the Oppo A53 a few months ago. The phone was an excellent success for Oppo, as it had good sales in the market. It was also the first device to feature Snapdragon 460 chipset. Now, it seems like Oppo is planning to launch another version of Oppo A53 with 5G support.
Today, the Oppo A53 5G has been spotted on China Telecom. The phone has the model number PECM30. It will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 720 (MT6853V) chipset. The back of the Oppo A53 5G looks different from the 4G version.
The phone has better specifications if we compare the two versions. The phone also got spotted on TENAA certification, which has also revealed all of its specifications:
- 6.5-inch single punch-hole screen
- 16M TFT display with Full-HD+ (2400×1080) resolution
- Dimensions: 162.2×75.0×7.9 mm, weight: 175g
- 3945mAh battery with no fast charging (Maybe 10W Only)

The camera bump is now square-shaped, while the 4G version has a rectangle camera bump. The fingerprint scanner is also shifted to the lock screen button.
The phone is available in two storage options, which are the following:

The phone may be limited to the Chinese market only as many 5G devices are limited to China or a few more regions.
