OPPO A55s 5G listed on Google Play Console with Snapdragon 480 5G

Earlier this year, OPPO launched the A55 5G, one of the most affordable 5G phones in the world. But the latest development shows that OPPO is planning to launch an improved version of this phone and name it OPPO A55s 5G.

The unannounced Oppo A55s 5G has recently surfaced on the Google Play Console Listing, revealing some basic specifications of the device. However, it doesn’t consist of any renders.

As mentioned in the listing, the OPPO A55s 5G is powered by the latest Snapdragon 480 chipset, which is another most affordable 5G chipset after the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The chipset is based on an 8nm manufacturing process and has a maximum 2.0GHz frequency (on Cortex-A76 cores).

The OPPO A55s 5G features a Full-HD+ (2400x1080p) display with 480 PPI. It is also equipped with 4GB RAM and runs the latest Android 11 OS.

As per old reports, the new OPPO A55s 5G features a single punch-hole display. While on the backside, it features a dual-camera setup in a rectangle-shaped camera module. Inside the phone, a 3890mAh battery has been used, which would support 18W fast charging as well.

Currently, there is no official confirmation regarding the launch of OPPO A55s 5G.
