A few days ago, Oppo announced that it was planning to launch a new smartphone called Oppo K7x. The phone was also spotted on TENAA certification, which revealed all its specifications except its chipset.
Today, the Oppo K7x was spotted on Geekbench, which revealed the chipset of the phone. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720. In Geekbench, the chipset has a codename MT6853V/ZA, which points out that this would be Dimensity 720.
The Dimensity 720 is an octa-core chipset with four Cortex-A76 performance cores at 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A55 energy-saving cores at 2.0GHz. It is based on 7nm production and has a Mali-G57 GPU.
The device has 8GB RAM and scored 511 points on single-core and 1644 points on multi-core on Geekbench. The Geekbench score is average compared with the mid-range category of Android phones. As shown in its launch poster, the phone is more focused on battery performance.
The specs of the phone are already revealed, which are the following:
