A few weeks ago, OPPO launched the OPPO K9 Pro with the Dimensity 1200 chipset, which comes with a price tag of $370.
Recent news claims that the company is looking forward to launching the new K9 series devices with mid-range specs. This morning, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the OPPO K9s will also be available soon.
The blogger also mentioned the specifications and renders of the device, which the appearance of the device can be observed. Starting from the chipset, the OPPO K9s is powered by the latest Snapdragon 778G chipset, a 6 nm-based premium mid-range chipset from Qualcomm.
Instead of an AMOLED display, the smartphone features a 6.59-inch single punch-hole LCD display with Full-HD+ resolution (1080p) and a six-speed variable 120Hz refresh rate. The weight of the OPPO K9s is 199g and the thickness is 8.52 mm.
In the punch hole on the front there is a 16MP lens. And on the back, it has the same triple-lens design as the OPPO K9 series symbolic design (64MP+8MP+2MP). Inside the phone, a 5000mAh battery also comes with 30W fast charging support.
The phone will also be available in two RAM storage variants: 6 GB and 8 GB. Other highlights include the 3.5mm headphone jack, side fingerprint scanner, and X-Axis linear motor.
At the moment, the device is unofficial, and the company is expected to announce a release date and pricing soon.
