Two days before, the OPPO K9s got leaked. However, all the renders and specifications of the device were from unofficial sources. This morning, OPPO officially announced the existence of OPPO K9s and further revealed the launch date.
The official announcement mentions that the OPPO K9s will be announced on October 20 at 2 PM. The official appearance of the device can also be observed in the poster. The OPPO K9s features the same camera design as the K9 series, including three lenses.
The phone will be available for sale on 11.11 (the year’s biggest online sale) for less than 2000 yuan.
Previously, it was reported that the smartphone would feature a 6.59-inch single punch-hole LCD display, which features Full-HD+ resolution and a six-speed variable 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the OPPO K9s would also be powered by the latest Snapdragon 778G chipset.
The phone would also feature a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. On the back, it features a triple camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP), while the front punch-hole would have a single 16MP lens.
Only the RAM variants (6GB and 8GB) are known at the moment, while the storage options are unknown. It is expected that officials will reveal more highlights regarding the upcoming device before the launch.
