A few months ago, it was reported that OPPO was planning to enter the tablet market. The company could launch its first tablet in the first half of 2022. Moreover, the images and some basic information about the tablet were revealed a few days ago.
This morning, the famous Chinese Blogger Digital Chat Station also revealed some basic specifications of the upcoming device.
As the blogger said, the OPPO tablet will come with an 11-inch display with 2K+ (2560x1600p) resolution. The display will also support a 120Hz refresh rate, which will make the entire user experience extremely smooth.
The tablet will also be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is one of Qualcomm’s latest sub-flagship chipsets. It will also come with a larger 8080mAh battery for good battery life to meet power consumption requirements. From these three major specifications, we can say that the OPPO tablet will be a strong contender for the Xiaomi Pad 5 series.
As mentioned earlier, OPPO’s first tablet is expected to launch in the first half of 2022.
