OPPO Reno5 Pro+ with Sony IMX766 sensor and will be available on December 24

This morning, Oppo officially confirmed that it would launch another version of the Reno5 series, the Reno5 Pro+. The company confirmed the launch of the upcoming device on its official Weibo account.

The official post mentions that the Reno5 Pro+ will be launched on December 24. Some specifications are also mentioned there. The phone would feature the SuperVOOC 65W flash charging.

Today, OPPO announced that Reno5 Pro+ will be equipped with the IMX766 sensor, which was jointly developed by OPPO and Sony. According to the leaked information, the Sony IMX766 is a 50MP lens with a CMOS size of about 1/1.5 inches.

In addition to the 50 million-pixel custom main camera, the OPPO Reno5 Pro+ has a 16MP ultra-wide lens, 13MP telephoto lens, and 2MP macro lens.

As the company mentioned, the phone features a new generation of flagship sensors with more extreme imaging power. It also features a long LED flash.
