This morning, the company officially announced that the Realme Book will be unveiled on August 18 at 15:00. At the same time, Realme will announce the Realme 828 Global Fan Festival event at the press conference.
In the official post, the company also mentioned “Reshaping creativity, a thin and lightweight notebook with performance.” The company means to say that the new Realme Book will be a slim notebook with strong performance.
As previously reported, the new Realme Book will be similar to Apple’s well-known Macbook Air in design. It will feature a three-sided narrow bezel display with a sunken hinge. The keyboard area is also pretty decent, in addition to a large area touchpad.
The display in Realme Book would be a 14-inch LED display with full-HD resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. In terms of CPU, the new notebook will be equipped with Intel’s 11th Gen Cores chipset. The base version will use Core-i3 CPU, while the high-end version will be powered by Core-i5 CPU.
On the left side, there would be two USB Type-C ports, while on the right side, there would be a USB Type-A port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. One of the Type-C ports is also expected to feature Thunderbolt protocols. The charging speed would be 65 watts (as revealed in 3C certification).
It is also reported that this notebook will be made of aluminum alloy and will be available in four different color options: Silver, Red, Blue, and Yellow. The price of the 8+512GB storage variant is expected to be around $675.
