Realme GT Neo will feature a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor

Today, Realme has officially announced that the upcoming Realme GT Neo will feature a 64MP ultra-clear primary camera sensor. The imaging sensor is the Sony IMX682 sensor, the same one used in Realme GT.

The officials also mentioned, “The hardware directly produces 64 million pixel ultra-high-definition photos and supports multi-frame synthesis technology, which can withstand zooming in and zooming in again!”

The Sony IMX682 is a 64MP sensor with a 1/1.7-inch outsole. The sensor is mature, and the hardware directly produces 64 million pixel ultra-high-definition photos.

According to previous information, the Realme GT Neo has already been confirmed to feature a Dimensity 1200 chipset. This is the world’s first 6nm chipset used in smartphones. It has a maximum frequency of 3.0 GHz (with a Cortex-A76 core) and uses a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.

A few days ago, a device with model number RMX3116 was also spotted on TENAA certification. According to reports, the Realme GT Neo is the same device. The RMX3116 measures about 159.9×73.4×7.8mm and is equipped with a 6.55-inch screen, dual 2200mAh batteries, and 65W fast charging. It runs on Android 11 system.

The Realme GT was a great success for Realme, as it is the most affordable Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone currently in the market. As per officials, Realme GT’s sales exceeded CNY 100 million in 10 seconds on March 10.
