This morning, Realme officially announced that the Realme GT5 will be launched on August 28. The officials also mentioned that this phone is specially designed for the brand’s 5th anniversary.
Other than that, the official announcement does not contain anything significant. The launch poster also includes the Realme GT5, but judging its appearance is almost impossible.
According to previous news, the Realme GT5 will adopt a 6.74-inch OLED single punch-hole display that would support 1.5k resolution and a higher refresh rate (probably 120Hz). The single punch-hole would house a 16MP selfie lens.
The Realme GT5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is based on 4nm TSMC’s 2nd-gen manufacturing process. The chipset features the Cortex-X3 Ultra-Core and Adreno 740 GPU.
On the back, the smartphone will feature a triple camera setup in a rectangle-shaped module. It would consist of a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP lens.
The Realme GT5 will be available in two battery variants: a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging and a 5200mAh battery with 150W charging. The top variant will have 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB storage.
Realme is expected to reveal more highlights of its Realme GT5 in the coming days.
