It was reported that Realme is working on its Koi series. A leak also claimed that the first smartphone from the Koi series might be sold as Realme V15 in China’s offline market.
Today, Realme Global Vice President (Xu Qi) officially confirmed that Realme V15 will be officially released at the conference on January 7. The renders of the phone are also revealed.
As mentioned, the phone’s color is Koi, which is a type of fish (famous for being colorful and representing a material and spiritual abundance or advancement). Like the fish, the phone also seems to be colorful. It consists of shades of the following colors: Blue, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink and Red.
The design of the camera bump is also a bit different from the previous Realme smartphone. It consists of a triple camera setup with a primary 64MP sensor. The tagline of Realme, Dare To Leap, is also written on the back in big letters.
Realme’s VP has also mentioned that the design is inspired by “Wen Yu” in the famous Chinese painting “Luo Shen Fu Tu,” which is the modern Koi prototype.
As previously reported, the Realme V15 will be powered by Dimensity 800U, an octa-core chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. The chipset has Cortex-A76 cores and the highest frequency at 2.4 GHz.
The phone is also expected to feature 50W fast charging and a big battery (around 4500mAh).
