Red Magic is all set to launch the successor at an upcoming event on November 23. Before the official launch event, we saw a major leak of devices, which revealed a major aspect of the gaming devices.
This morning, the Nubia NX769J was listed on the AnTuTu benchmark, belonging to the Red Magic 9 Pro. The listing revealed the device’s basic specifications and benchmark scores.
This phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the best you can get from Qualcomm. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and features 1x Cortex-X4 Super-core, 5x Cortex-A720 P-cores and 2x Cortex-A520 E-cores.
With this chipset, the device has scored a total of 2,290,773 points, which includes 516,397 points for CPU, 904,492 points for GPU, 457,734 points for Memory, and 412,150 points for UX. It is worth mentioning that the GPU here is Adreno 750, an integrated GPU of Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
The benchmark also mentions that this phone has 24GB LPDDR5 RAM, 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and runs the latest Android 14.
According to previous news, the RedMagic 9 Pro will feature a body with a thickness of 8.9 mm, which is really thin and light in the gaming smartphone segment. It features a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel main lens. On the front, the smartphone will retain the same under-display camera module as its predecessor.
