Yesterday, Redmi officially confirmed that the new gaming phone will be released at the end of April 2021. The phone has already been leaked and rumored for a long time.
Recently, a Redmi phone with model M2104K10AC was listed on the 3C certification. As per previous leaks, this model number belongs to Redmi’s upcoming gaming phone. The 3C certification has revealed the phone’s charging specifications.
As can be seen, the gaming phone will use a 67W charger with model number MDY-12-EF. The same charger has been used in the Mi 11 Ultra and also supports charging at 15W.
As per previous reports, the Redmi gaming phone will be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200. The chipset is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and consists of one Ultra Cortex-A78 core at 3GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores at 2.6GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz.
Some reports also claimed that this gaming phone would be equipped with Samsung’s E4 Material AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate support. It will also be packed with a 5000mAh battery, which supports 67W fast charging. It would also feature a side fingerprint scanner.
The name of Redmi’s gaming phone has not been revealed by the officials yet. It will be launched before the end of this month.
