Today, the General Manager of Redmi has revealed that the upcoming Redmi K40 series will not only be a phone but also a gaming phone.
As per configurations, the Redmi K40 series will feature the Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is also the best chipset in Android phones.
It also features the Dolby Atmos sound and has dual Hi-Res gold standard certification, providing a better audio and video experience. Lu Weibing mentioned that the game optimization is temporarily confidential; it will be announced at tomorrow’s event.
The officials have also revealed that the company will also launch its own exclusive customized gaming accessories. The Big Devil’s Shoulder Keys are specially designed for first-person shooting games.

As per previous news, the Redmi K40 series will be launched in two different versions: one with a Snapdragon 870 chipset and the other with a Snapdragon 888 chipset. Both phones will use a 6.67-inch perforated screen.
The phone will be powered by a 4520mAh high-capacity battery and supports 33W fast charging. The Redmi K40 Pro is expected to have a four-camera solution (108MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP). On the front, a 30MP lens is expected to be featured.
