Today, Redmi has revealed the display specifications of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. As revealed by the officials, the gaming phone will feature a flexible OLED display, providing a flagship quality output. The display has the following highlights:
- 1.07 billion color display. The color transition is going to be extremely smooth.
- 8192-level Brightness adjustment, which can adapt to your ambient light at any time.
- HDR10+
- DCI-P3 Color Gamut for better color coverage.
- 120Hz refresh rate, which seems to be low as the phone comes in the gaming category.
It is worth mentioning that the display sizes are around 6.43 inches, and there is a single punch-hole in the display as well. The side bezels and top and bottom chins are significantly reduced.
We already reported that the Dimensity 1200 chipset would power the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. The chipset is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and has a maximum frequency of 2.4GHz with Cortex-A76 cores.
This gaming phone would feature a 5000mAh battery with fast charging of up to 67W. The phone would also be equipped with a side fingerprint scanner as well.
The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will adopt a futuristic and unique design like other gaming phones. All the lenses are placed in an oval-shaped lens module.
